Summary: Couldn't have survived without it!!!
Comment: I had purchased one of these fans before Hurricane Ike. Little did I know. Our power was out for two whole weeks and without this fan, well, let's just say it would have been ugly. This fan ran almost constantly (and pretty quietly), through the grandson's nap and during the night on me and in the kitchen while cooking. I had to replace batteries twice but during two weeks, I don't think that was excessive. Be gentle with the battery compartment cover (one star minus) but other than that, this fan stood up to being knocked over and running all the time. After the Hurricane season ended, I ordered three more for the other people in the house. I used this fan during a major power outage but you can utilize this battery operated fan in so many other ways.

Comment: I purchase this product because I do agility with my three dogs. I know a lot of people that purchase these fans and are very happy with them. You can hook them right to your crates or you can use the legs and place them on the ground. Really keeps them cool

Comment: This is not a good product, very poor quality. I ordered two of these fans after hurrican Gustav and the first time I opened both of them the hinges broke. I returned them and got a full refund. Don't waste your time and money on this product. There are better battery powered fans on the market.

Comment: These fans were defective. The base of the fan was cracked on each side. I was not able to stand the fan up because of the base being cracked. I ordered 4 fans and all 4 were cracked. I would not recommend these fans.

Comment: I received this fan and folded out the base which is hinged. Both hinges immediately broke. I complained and Ace sent me another fan. They generously told me I could keep the 1st broken fan. I just received the fan. I very carefully folded out the base. Both hinges broke again. I guess I will cobble together something to attach the fan to the base but basically this fan is a piece of junk.
