Customer Rating: Summary: I STILL SEE ROACHES Comment: I do not recommend this product. It DOES NOT work!!! I still see roaches crawling around and this to them is just another toy for them to crawl on.
Customer Rating: Summary: It does not work for squirrels Comment: Squirrels are not gone. Seems they are visiting less then before installation of the device, but they are not gone at all.
Customer Rating: Summary: No mice! Comment: I guess it works, I haven't seen a mouse since I bought it. As an added bonus (this is maybe coincidence, but), the pigeons have stopped nesting on my apt window sill as well. Great product.
Customer Rating: Summary: no mice in 7 years Comment: I haven't had a mouse in 7 years...since I bought my first Pest A Cator. Noticed mouse dropping last week - my device finally broke (7 years for $22.00 - not bad!)
Ordered a new one right away!
Read the other review - Quak device.....
the device itself does nothing!!! It pulsates through the wires which annoys the heck out of the rodents - so even if they come into your house, they won't stay, build nests, multiply,..... They will leave!!
Plugging it into an extention cord outside shows that the reviewer has NO understanding of HOW it works.
PS: the red light is only an indicator that it's working - it's not the repellent!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Coincidence or This Really Works Comment: Last Monday evening as we were watching TV our dog suddenly started running around the sofa chair. While we hadn't had any pest issues at the new apartment the behavior was familiar as our old place was invested with mice and rats.
Not wanting to see a repeat performance of infestation I promptly purchased a few glue traps and a live trap and placed them wherever I saw droppings. Tuesday - Sunday goes by and nothing in the traps, nor any sign of the mouse. Bothered by the fact that there may be a mouse in the house I purchased the Pest-A-Cator which arrived on Saturday. I centrally installed the Pest-A-Cator at about 8pm... when we woke up on Sunday morning I checked the traps and there was our mouse in one of the glue traps!
Now to be perfectly accurate here are the things that I did on Saturday evening:
1) Installed 2 More Glue Traps but this time put a drop of peanut butter in the middle of the new and existing traps (6 Glue)
2) Installed the Pest-A-Cator
Thus, it's either a coincidence that the mouse was trapped a few hours after plugging in the Pest-A-Cator or the peanut butter did the trick.
