The 100% cotton cherry patterned fabric pouch is filled with 2 lbs. of heat-retaining cherry stones supplied by American orchard growers. Their restorative properties were first discovered by Swiss distillery workers who would warm little bags of cherry stones (a by-product in the manufacture of Kirsch liqueur) on stove tops then use them as heat pads to treat their aches and pains. Now you can benefit from this traditional treatment with heat-retaining cherry stones that give out a long lasting penetrating heat and the scent of cherries too. Neck tension, stomach cramps, backache, shoulder pain and cold, aching feet melt away in the fragranced glow of warm cherry stones. As every outlet near my computer is occupied, I needed something that did not have to be plugged in. This definately gets very hot in the microwave, in only 3 minutes, and holds the heat for about 15-20min. Stays in place around the neck and I also drop it down between my back and the chair to get some heat on the back muscles. The "cherry aroma" advertised is really more of a sour cherry - not totally unpleasant, but certainly not going to add any aromatherapy componant to this wrap. Customer Rating: Summary: Great item. The best neck wrap I have bought yet! Comment: The Cherry stone neck pillow is much better than all the other neck wraps out there I have purchased all the other kinds sold here on Amazon hoping for relief from a sore neck and shoulder, it stays hot longer and the heat is stronger as the weight of the wrap really helps the heat sink into sore neck muscles. Buy this if you are looking for a great quality item, I use it everyday and its great.
