Comment: Your personal opinion with no stats to back your negative rating. It is possible that you've had a bad experience with this laptop while I've had a great one. COnsistently lasted through a couple of years and still going strong. While HW appears to be the problem in most cases, it is actually technology that updates and leaves the HW behind. Knowing the correct solutions and patches and updates cures this 99% of the time. The laptop is fine for the pricing on it!

Comment: I have tried this laptop and returned it within a week when it failed all my tests. Compaq computers are not built to last, they have cheap unknown hardware and are slow within a month becasue of it. Compaq customer support is non-existant and your luck if the computer lasts more than a year. No wonder Compaq ere rated the worst company that makes the worst computers etc.. 3 years running.
