Summary: Good intentions, poor solution for diet management
Comment: I came across this kit on sale at a local organics store and have just completed the 7-day system.
Firstly I must say that curiosity, not need or belief in the system, led me to purchase this product (the sale price helped also).
Secondly, I have very regular bowel habits already. I'm 30 years old, female, of healthy weight, I have no health issues, I don't smoke, don't drink excessively. My diet consists largely of lots of raw fruits and veggies, tofu, whole grains, soy milk, nuts, egg whites, healthy oils, very light dairy, and NO meats/seafood/poultry.
So why did I bother getting this product? I wanted to feel what it did to my body from a healthy person's perspective.
(Note: I agree with the person who was confused about the directions on the 3 numbered bottles (take 1 and 2 in the morning, then 2 and 3 in the evening). It could have been explained a bit better.)
I didn't care for the sensations this product gave me. I got very gassy (not unpleasant-smelling gas, just a lot of it) after the second day. Instead of one flawless (for lack of a better term) BM a day, I was doing it 2-3 times a day - it was slightly messy, and it was preceeded by hours of a rumbling, rolling tummy. When I woke up in the morning, it tasted like I'd been sucking on metal all night. And since yesterday - 1 day AFTER the 7-day system was completed - I have had painful waves ripple through my belly, insisting that I go to the bathroom *immediately*... and the result is NOT pleasant.
I *assume* these adverse effects are due to consuming too much fiber, but time will tell. To be sure though, this was the first and last cleansing experiment for me.
I would have given this product a single star because it seems wholly unnecessary *if you adopt a healthy lifestyle and eat healthy foods*. The program suggests modifying your eating habits, getting more fiber, and drinking plenty of water... which in the end, is ALL you need to do. I bumped it up to a 2-star rating because I think it MAY motivate some people to change their habits, possibly for the rest of their lives, and that is a positive thing.
***But the fact remains: the body is not a glass container that can be filled with poisons, then scrubbed once or twice a year and be called "cleansed".***

Summary: Great Product
Comment: If you follow this cleansing program to the letter, you will see results. It's a commitment, however, and I'd be interested to see whether the folks who didn't like it actually adhered to the guidelines. If you're a smoker or a drinker and you STILL do your vice over the seven days, then you probably won't achieve the results you want. This company makes great products all around.

Summary: Clean and Clear
Comment: There is no way that this product doesn't work as others have mentioned.
I followed the instructions and was cleansed quickly. There was one trick that I had to implement and that was with the fiber powder. It takes a higher solubility than cool tap water. I made the water 120 F and it disolved while stiring. Drink a lot of water and avoid orange juice or oranges because it intinsifies the cleanse... if you get what I mean. Day three you may want to occur over the weekend. Good product best of luck.

Summary: Ok I guess, but not sure if its doing anything much...
Comment: Had high hopes for this product based on the previous reviews. But to be honest, not really sure if I can tell whether it's doing anything much...I don't feel any cleaner - my skin doesn't appear to be any clearer or cleaner than usual (usually a good external indicator), my bowel movements haven't changed from the usual, I can't feel anything different to the usual...
I bought it because I'd been on a few benders recently with the red meat & alcohol, and (unusually for me) coffee, and as a result had experienced an outbreak of greasy skin and a few spots (also unusual for me), and had been having some trouble shaking it through the usual detox methods (less oily food, more water, veg, fibre, etc.)
Now, a week before taking it I started eating granola &/or meusli + fruit for breakfast (which I don't normally do) and the extra fibre seemed to start clearing things up a little bit anyway...but still not back to normal - but taking this product hasn't improved on that as far as I can tell. It may simply be that the effect it was going to have, was basically what the granola + fruit did naturally...hard to say - but either way, I guess that means it's effects are certainly nothing special that you couldn't just get from a bowl of granola/meusli + some fruit every day.
...and that's far preferable to the acacia fibre in this product - which is a pain to try and dissolve in water (always ends up lumpy whether I shake, or stir, or whatever) - and frankly, tastes a little bit like slightly soapy water.
I don't want to sound too harsh on this product though, as it may be doing something subtle that I just havent noticed yet (I'm on the last day, so it's not quite over yet)...it's just that it's not doing anything as spectacularly noticeable as I'd hoped for I guess.

Comment: I tried this product for the entire 7 day period and had no noticeable results. The deep cleanse capsules taste awful but I continued to follow the entire program in hopes it would work as the other reviews had indicated. I was disappointed that nothing really happened for me. I would consider trying the program again because it's only a week long commitment and relatively inexpensive.
