Summary: Good for the money
Comment: These glass jugs are not perfect by any means, but the for the price they are pretty good. They are very solid, but not too heavy. The handle is strong and feels right in my hand. I think the handle is perfect for pouring and well designed. It is true that they are prone to dribbling. You just have to be careful. They could be better designed, but I am still happy with them. It's so hard to find glass anymore that I was just relieved to finally find something to put my tea in that wasn't plastic, and wasn't too expensive. Each jar is one liter, which is a little over four cups. They are each about the size of my Sigg. So they are not very big, but that is good because it allows them to be solid without being heavy.
My jugs arrived in perfect condition and well-packaged.

Summary: Love 'em but Hate 'em
Comment: I love the sturdiness of the pitchers and the fact that they are glass so the taste isn't contaminated, but I HATE THE LIDS! They don't seal and you have to take them off to pour or you have a HUGE MESS. I don't have a problem, but my husband makes a mess EVERY time he uses them. It dribbles down the side. I am glad I got them though, I've been searching for a glass pitcher for a while, and this is the best I think.

Comment: The jugs are nice and heavy and arrived unbroken, but the comments about small drips and dribbling are vast understatements! Most of the time, more ends up on the counter than in my cup! But I use them for water only (trying to cut down on those nasty plastics) and I just take the lid off before pouring and little or no dribbles...

Summary: Perfect pitchers for my refrigerator space
Comment: I came back to purchase more of these pitchers as a gift for my Mom and found some very poor reviews, so I'm writing this review in defense of the product.
I see several poor reviews on these pitchers based on SHIPPING problems. That's a quality control problem for Amazon to solve. My pitchers arrived well packaged and unbroken, so not all shipping experiences are bad. Amazon has excellent customer service and whenever I have reported a shipping problem they have always reacted in a positive manner to correct the problem.
This space is a PRODUCT review, and here is mine. I LOVE these pitchers. I make different types of ice tea in each pitcher several times a week, and have had them many months now, and they are as perfect as the day I received them. They are heavy duty glass, and the design is perfect for my refrigerator door shelves, so they don't take up valuable space in the body of my refrigerator. My Mom has a poorly designed side-by-side refrigerator with very restricted space. She also has the grandkids over all the time who like to drink lemonade or koolade. She usually ends up throwing out any unused drink since the pitchers she owns don't fit or take up too much room in her refrigerator. These little pitchers (50-54 oz each is my estimate) will fit in her refrigerator door.
I take the pitcher lid off before pouring so I have not experienced the frustration that some have had with trying to pour with the lid on. It really wasn't a show stopper for me.
I just think these pitchers are great work horses, and the design is just what I needed. The price is very reasonable for two heavy glass pitchers, too.
