Summary: Excellent starter set!
Comment: Good, solid poles that work great with all the tools you could possibly need and then some (including little handy things I wasn't expecting such as a little pincher to cut the string, just one of many). We bought two of these and have used them for two solid days of fishing so far, snagged them on lots of plants and trees (hey, it's been years since I've cast!!), yet they held up and worked wonderfully for us nonetheless. I would recommend just using earthworms for bait since I didn't have a whole lot of luck with the artificial lures (we also had earthworms that worked great). But if you want to do some casual fishing with the kids or by yourself, this is an excellent set FOR AN AWESOME price, and you don't need to research exactly what you need to make sure you aren't missing anything, this kit has it all. I also liked the fact that it showed how to tie some of the basic knots in the line, etc... it was a good refresher since it had been years for me, just made things simpler where I could have easily made a mistake. HIGHLY recommend!!

Comment: This was a great deal for the price. Comes with complete rod and reel and a small tackle box with some lures and other supplies. Worked well for a casual fisherman and occasional use.
